Job description

Position Summary:
Are you a solution architect familiar with Cloud-based architectures and DW/BI/Analytics domains? Do you have experience in Snowflake? If you answered "yes", this contract Snowflake Architect position is the role for you!
Synch-Solutions is looking for a Snowflake Architect contractor who will work alongside an innovative technology team to create solutions designed to help clients move their on-premises data warehouses to Cloud-based products like Snowflake, Big Query, and others. The Snowflake Architect will be a critical asset as part of the cloud migration and will be responsible for configuring and integrating Snowflake within various platforms such as AWS and Azure.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate within a project team to solve complex problems
  • Configure Snowflake and integrate with SSO, AD, AWS services, and Power BI on Azure
  • Architect and deploy Snowflake on AWS
  • Establish Power BI on Azure connectivity to Snowflake Iceberg tables/AWS S3
  • Create Snowflake Iceberg tables pointing to data on S3

Required Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience working with/in Snowflake
  • Experience deploying Snowflake on AWS and integrating with other AWS services
  • Experience in working with Iceberg tables
  • Understanding of migration, dev/ops, ETL/ELT, and BI required
  • Good communication
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to support positive client engagement
