We are seeking a talented and professional Consultant (Snowflake Data Engineer Skillset) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop automated data pipelines and data stores in Snowflake: including designing, implementing, testing, debugging, and deploying.
  • Build metadata driven solutions that are reusable and highly configurable.
  • Automate testing and deployment in Snowflake across Azure and AWS.
  • Partner with business analysts to groom and implement stories.
  • Work on an agile team to quickly iterate and release solutions.
  • Provide technical advice and assist end-users in solving problems.
  • Continuously learn new skills and make improvement in the product.
  • Remain committed to successful delivery to the client on every engagement (success metrics involve deliverables met, client satisfaction, future project recommendations/extensions and collaboration).
  • Prioritize operational excellence by meeting or exceeding all utilization goals.
  • Contribute toevolv's culture and personal development through collaborating well internally, displaying our core values, participating in internal initiatives (events/groups), and/or obtaining new certifications approved by leader.
  • Help growevolv by providing team member/client referrals and connecting with our internal network.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a B.S. in Computer Science, MIS or related degree and 3+ years of related experience.
  • In depth knowledge ofSnowflake, SQL,and Python
  • Experience with:
    • Data Pipelines, ETL
    • Relational or Columnar databases
    • Knowledge or experience with Power BI or Tableau
    • Agile methodologies, Scrum
    • CI/CD pipeline
    • Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud services
  • Experience with one or more of below is preferred (not required):
    • Alteryx
    • DBT
    • Airflow
    • Confluence and Jira
