TITLE:Oktoberfest Festival Server 21+

LOCATION:Snowbird Oktoberfest Festival
STATUS:Part-Time, Seasonal
SCHEDULE:Saturdays and Sundays8/8 through 10/11(as well as Labor Day 9/7)| Approx. 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
COMPENSATION:$11.00/hour + tips

Running from mid-August through mid-October, this vibrant event brings together live entertainment, authentic cuisine, family-friendly activities, and, of course, world-class brews.

We areseekingenthusiastic, service-driven individuals to join our Oktoberfest team and help deliver exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic, high-energy environment.

SUMMARY

As anOktoberfest Festival Server (21+), you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable festival atmosphere. Reporting to theOktoberfest LeadershipTeam, you will provide outstanding food and beverage service whilemaintaininghigh standardsof safety, cleanliness, and professionalism.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Deliver exceptional guest service by exceeding customer expectations

  • Serve food and beverages in compliance with all safety and sanitation standards

  • Verify guest identification and responsibly serve alcoholwhile following the RASP (Responsible Alcohol Service Policy) laws

  • OperatePOSand handle transactions accurately

  • Assistwith food service, beer pouring, andmaintainingservice stations

  • Bus tables, restock supplies, andmaintaincleanliness throughout the venue

  • Support event setup and teardown activities

  • Complete assigned side work and adapt to various roles as needed

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and successful event operations

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • Must be21 years of age or older

  • Positive attitude with strong teamwork skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment

  • Strong communicationskills (Englishproficiencyrequired)

  • Ability to follow direction and work independently when needed

  • Previoushospitality or customer service experience preferred (notrequired)

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Must obtainFood Handler PermitandAlcohol Service Certificationby training date(August 1 or 2)

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Must be available to workevery weekend, includingLabor Day weekend (September 5-7)

  • While some positions will begin at the start of the season, others may have a later start date,depending on staffing needs

  • Required attendance at training/orientation onAugust 1 or 2

  • Events are held rain or shine; shifts may vary slightly within scheduled hours

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Fast-paced, high-volume setting with large crowds and live entertainment

  • Outdoor mountain environment with varying weather conditions

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 30lbs

  • Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and navigating uneven terrain

UNIFORM GUIDELINES

  • Black pants or fingertip-length black shorts (no rips or athletic wear)

  • Closed-toe, comfortable shoes with black socks

  • Snowbird-provided shirt, apron, hat, and name tag must be worn during shifts

  • Weather-appropriate outerwear recommended
