Snowbird is situated in the middle of the Wasatch Mountain Range and is not only home to awe-inspiring views and mighty terrain, it is also home to employees equally as remarkable. Snowbird is continually looking for the best, those who share a passion for these mountains and the outdoors. Snowbird is a unique resort with distinct summer and winter seasons and offers full-time, part-time and seasonal positions.

TITLE: Night Auditor

LOCATION:Iron Blosam Lodge at Snowbird

STATUS:Part-time, year-round

SCHEDULE:11pm-7am on Sundays and Mondays

SUMMARY

As a Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor at the Iron Blosam Lodge at Snowbird you are responsible for providing excellent customer service throughout our guest's stay by exceeding their expectations and performing all duties regarding the operation of the front desk. You will assist guests with check-in and out, give general information about the resort, answer the telephone, make reservations, receive customer complaints, and find solutions, and demonstrate outstanding customer service.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Check guests in and out in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Display the ability to communicate discount and up sell strategies.
  • Accommodate guests' special requests and VIP arrivals with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
  • Book Lodging Reservations using knowledge of occupancy levels as well as answer Softphone calls when appropriate.
  • Respond to guest questions and tasks action to resolve customer complaints.
  • Verify guest payments: process credit cards.
  • Protect guest privacy.
  • Assist guests with restaurant and spa reservations and general knowledge of the resort.
  • Assist guest services (Concierge) when needed.
  • Update guest tiles with phone number & email address at check in.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by manager or supervisor.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Hotel receptionist job experience is a plus.
  • Great listening, speaking, presentation, and up sell skills.
  • Multitasking is a must.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • 21 years of age.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Specific Shift: 11pm - 7am on Sundays and Mondays.
  • You must be available to work both shifts based on business needs, including weekends and holidays.
  • Shifts may vary from early morning to late evening depending on business levels.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work is routine in pleasant, comfortable surroundings.Hotel Lodge conditions.
  • Must be prepared to stay overnight, if necessary, on occasional times of road closures.
  • May experience unusual stress from continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Work is subject to frequent interruptions, making continuity and accuracy difficult.
  • Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
