Position Summary:
Schwickert's Tecta America is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Our Commercial Roofing Foreman are hard-working leaders that want to learn and grow in their career. The Commercial Foreman is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the daily activities of the field installers assigned to his/her crew. The Foreman will be responsible for leading a crew of roofers whom install commercial roofing products and systems with the highest degree of quality, in the safest and most cost effective manner.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR UP TO A $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!
Starting pay ranges from $28-$38+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Inspect roofs for damages and leaks
  • Perform roof repairs as needed
  • Completing field inspections
  • Develop a scope of work with a budget
  • Organize a materials list
  • Provide training, leadership and direction to the field employees under their supervision.
  • Train employees on safety procedures and safety equipment.
  • Maximize productivity while maintaining job costs, installation quality and employee safety.
  • Ensure the proper utilization of materials and equipment.
  • Plan, administrate, and participate as an instructor in Company sponsored education programs for the workforce.
  • Promote proper work ethic and enforce the Company's policies, procedures and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Extensive knowledge with multiple types of roofing products and systems.
  • Advanced planning skills for establishing maximum productivity of workforce, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
