The range of services we offer includes landscaping, irrigation, mowing, lawn fertilization, landscape maintenance, outdoor and holiday lighting, snow removal and retail sales. POSITION SUMMARY

Our Technicians are an integral part of our Maintenance crews. The goal of our RCL crews is to create and maintain beautiful landscapes. Tasks will vary depending on the department. During the green season, a typical work week requires 40-55 hours, some Saturdays as needed, with the work day starting at 6:30 a.m. or 7:00 a.m. depending on the department. During the snow season, on-call hours will vary. Working conditions vary by the job site. Crews of 2-3 people work together to create some of the most beautiful properties in the area. This position is full time, seasonal.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS

  • Follow all instructions given by the manager or crew foreman
  • Prepare vehicles and equipment for the days work
  • Operate equipment properly and safely
  • Perform general equipment maintenance
  • Work effectively with little supervision
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and per company productions rates
  • Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
  • Demonstrate customer service and professionalism
  • Duties, responsibilities and activities subject to change at any time with or without notice to accommodate seasonal and peak business demands
  • Responsible for snow removal


DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS

  • Landscape Install - construction of patios, walls, water features, low voltage lighting; operating equipment, demolition, site and soil prep, grading, planting, sod
  • Landscape Maintenance - pruning, weeding, annual planting and design to add color, top dressing mulch or rock, planting, repairing sod, seeding, edging plant beds and clearing and removing brush
  • Mowing - mowing, trimming and blowing debris, using commercial mowers, trimmers and blowers
  • Irrigation - service and installation of commercial and residential irrigation systems


EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience preferred but not required
  • Posses a valid drivers license and must be insurable on companys insurance policy
  • Safely operate small equipment


WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs.
  • Exposed to exterior elements (i.e. pollen, chemicals, cold, heat, rain, and snow, etc.)
  • Time in the field is 100%
  • Requires extended periods of activity; walking, standing, kneeling, bending and lifting
