Job description

About Us

Berrington Snow is a trusted leader in snow and ice management, providing reliable winter services to commercial and industrial clients across Nassau and Suffolk Counties. As the winter season approaches, we are expanding our network of experienced snow removal subcontractors to help us deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality service to our growing customer base. Our team speaks Spanish and Portuguese.

Job Description

We are seeking subcontractors to perform snow and ice management services, including plowing, shoveling, and salting for assigned commercial properties. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals or businesses with the right equipment who want to increase their workload and income during the winter months.

Responsibilities
  • Provide snow plowing, snow removal, and de-icing services for assigned properties.

  • Respond promptly to snow and ice events — availability is required 24/7 during inclement weather, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ensure all properties meet safety and contractual standards for snow and ice removal.

  • Safely and efficiently operate snow removal equipment.

  • Communicate with the operations team to confirm service completion and report any issues.

  • Submit photo documentation of completed work using mobile applications.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in snow removal and/or ice management.

  • Access to reliable snow removal equipment (plows, spreaders, trucks, etc.).

  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance (commercial auto insurance required).

  • Ability to work on-call and respond quickly during weather events.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality service.

Benefits of Partnering with Us
  • Steady, reliable work during the winter season.

  • Competitive subcontractor rates with timely payments.

  • Opportunity to grow your business and expand your professional network.

How to Apply

To apply, please email your qualifications and equipment list to hr@berrington.com.
We look forward to building strong partnerships this winter season!
