Responsibilities
  • Operate snow and ice removal equipment, such as Ventrac SSVs and Bobcat L-28 wheel loaders, to clear walkways and driveways according to contract specifications and safety standards
  • Perform snow and ice removal tasks during all hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed during snow events
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site, ensuring that existing landscaping and property are not damaged during snow removal operations
  • Care for and maintain company-provided equipment, tools, and vehicles
  • Respond promptly to snow events as an essential service provider, supporting the local community and businesses
Qualifications
  • Experience operating small or heavy equipment for snow removal (such as plows, snowblowers, and shovels)
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in cold, icy, and snowy conditions
  • Availability to work variable hours, including being on call 24/7 during snow events (with advance notice for scheduling needs)
  • Reliable transportation to the shop or first job site at any time of day or night
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Ability to provide your own cold weather clothing, including winter boots, coat, hat, and gloves
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
