*Highland Hospital is seeking a Full Time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APP) to join its growing team. Candidates for this role would work in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Monday - Friday, Days. No weekends or holidays required.
Some duties include but are not limited to:
The Strong Health Geriatrics Non-Physician Provider is responsible for providing on-site medical services in coordination with collaborating/supervising physicians and health care team members in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. The non-physician provider is responsible for establishing and managing all aspects of medical care in accordance with established medical protocols.
Manages acute and chronic illnesses for residents in ALF/SNF setting. This includes initiating appropriate treatment in emergency situations. Obtains detailed history, completes physical examination, and establishes treatment plan for newly admitted and readmitted residents to facilities. Documents the care provided utilizing SHGG approved forms in accordance with SHGG guidelines.
Salary Range:
$98,000.00 - $130,083.20 annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Job Requirements
Education: Fulfilled the requirements to be a licensed PA or NP in NYS.
Experience: Experience preferred but new graduates will be considered
License/Certification Required: NYS License for PA candidates. Current, valid license to practice as an NP in NYS for NP candidates. Must be BLS certified.
Skills: Knowledge of various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures recommended
