Lead and provide technical support for SMT, Wave Solder, and Conformal Coating processes, including equipment, programming, maintenance coordination, and process optimization. Responsible for ensuring process stability, high yield, and efficiency while supporting new product introductions (NPI). Drives continuous improvement initiatives and ensures all KPIs and process controls meet operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and improve the KPI's ( Yield, Utilization, Efficiency, OEE , Scrap, Shrinkage, OT ).
Develop, optimize, and maintain SMT, Wave Solder, and Conformal Coating processes
Program, debug, and troubleshoot SMT equipment (Universal GSMs, Panasonic, ASM, DEK, etc.)
Support NPI: tooling design, line setup, process validation, and production ramp-up
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for defects and downtime.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance strategies and machine installation
Ensure compliance with EHS, quality standards, and process documentation.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree completed.
4 years of experience in SMT.
Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving.
Strong leadership, interpersonal/communication skills, working in a team environment.
Results-oriented with continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of SMT, Wave Solder, and Conformal Coating processes.
Expertise in SMT equipment programming and troubleshooting.
Stencil design and Gerber file interpretation.
High level of programming (different platforms).
Process development, DOE, and yield improvement.
Knowledge of PCB design rules for manufacturability (DFM).
Experience in electronics industry.
