Job description

High School / Middle School - Food Service

Key Responsibilities:

As High School/ Middle School Food Service, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and serving meals to students in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized cafeteria environment.
  • Assisting with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning.
  • Operating kitchen equipment, such as ovens, stovetops, and dishwashers.
  • Monitoring food quality and ensuring food safety standards are met.
  • Collecting payments and accurately handling cash transactions.
  • Assisting in inventory management and restocking food and supplies.
  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing student and staff concerns in a professional manner.
  • Collaborating with other cafeteria staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
