HOSPITALITY Revenue & Distribution Analyst (Remote)


Position Summary

Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Revenue & Distribution Analyst to support revenue optimization, distribution strategy, forecasting, and inventory management across the resort's diverse lodging portfolio.  Must have hospitality experience as well as Opera proficiency.

This position is responsible for analyzing business trends, managing rates and inventory, maintaining distribution channels, supporting system implementations, and providing actionable insights that maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and profitability. The Revenue & Distribution Analyst will play a key role in ensuring accurate rate distribution, inventory management, forecasting, and channel performance across direct, group, wholesale, OTA, consortia, and travel advisor business segments.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of resort revenue management, distribution systems, pricing strategies, and hospitality technology platforms.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Revenue Analysis & Forecasting

  • Analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and annual booking pace, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and revenue performance.
  • Maintain accurate data on Rentals in the Sandestin program.
  • Monitor demand trends, market conditions, local events, and competitive activity.
  • Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and long-range demand planning.
  • Prepare and distribute recurring revenue reports and dashboards for leadership.
  • Identify revenue opportunities and provide recommendations to optimize performance.
  • Conduct variance analyses and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Rate & Inventory Management

  • Create, maintain, and audit transient, negotiated, wholesale, group, package, promotional, owner, and consortia rate plans.
  • Build and maintain corporate negotiated rates and contracted account pricing.
  • Manage inventory controls including:
    • Minimum Length of Stay (MLOS)
    • Closed to Arrival (CTA)
    • Closed to Departure (CTD)
    • Blackout dates
    • Availability restrictions
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure rate integrity and inventory accuracy across all systems.

Distribution & Connectivity Management

  • Manage and maintain distribution through:
    • Oracle Opera Cloud PMS
    • Springer Miller SMS|Host (during transition period)
    • SynXis CRS
    • WorldNXT Booking Engine
    • Sabre GDS
    • OTA and third-party distribution channels
  • Monitor channel connectivity and troubleshoot rate, inventory, and reservation discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate mapping of rates, inventory, market segments, and restrictions across all distribution channels.
  • Conduct routine rate parity and channel audits.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding distribution enhancements and connectivity issues.

OTA, Wholesale & Travel Advisor Management

  • Monitor performance and profitability of OTA channels including Expedia Group, Booking.com, Hotels.com, Airbnb, VRBO, and other third-party partners.
  • Analyze channel contribution, acquisition costs, cancellation trends, and net revenue.
  • Support strategies to maximize direct bookings while optimizing channel mix.
  • Maintain wholesale, consortia, travel advisor, and package offerings.
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing new distribution opportunities and partnerships.

Package & Promotional Strategy

  • Build and maintain promotional offers and package programs.
  • Manage package components including resort credits, golf inclusions, dining offers, activity packages, and seasonal promotions.
  • Audit package pricing, inclusions, and revenue recognition to ensure accuracy.
  • Evaluate promotional effectiveness and provide recommendations for future campaigns.

System Administration & Implementation Support

  • Support the resort's migration from SMS|Host to Opera Cloud.
  • Assist with system configuration, testing, validation, and training efforts.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and implementation projects.
  • Document revenue management and distribution processes and procedures.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Reservations, Marketing, Finance, Front Office, Rental Management, and Operations teams.
  • Assist with group pricing analysis and displacement evaluations.
  • Support creation and maintenance of contracted group and negotiated rates.
  • Provide revenue insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in hospitality revenue management, reservations, distribution, revenue analysis, or related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in a resort, vacation rental, condominium resort, or mixed-inventory hospitality environment strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of hospitality revenue management principles.
  • Knowledge of distribution channels, GDS systems, OTA channels, and booking engine management.
  • Understanding of market segmentation, pricing strategies, and inventory controls.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and present actionable recommendations.
  • Strong systems aptitude and ability to troubleshoot distribution and connectivity issues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
