Job description

Job Title: Seat Shop A Mechanic

Department: Osc Hangar Maintenance

Reports To: Project Manger

Flight Deck and Crew rest area seat repair or alteration including removal and Installation on aircraft, including hangar and/or flight line as required

Required Seat inspection cards per Aircraft Check Cargo area smoke Curtain removal, repair /Installation Bench shop work on flight deck repair and overhaul of seats Reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language and approved repair data Following safety rules and procedures. Keeping the work area clean and neat.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must possess an Airframe license. Must be a US citizen

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

-- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stand; walk; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
