SMMA is seeking a Civil Engineer to join SMMA's Site Design team, a talented group of designers and problem-solvers. This position is for anengineer that willwork with senior team members onsite design through all phases of a project. Given SMMA's integrated and multidisciplinary composition, the role affords a chance to coordinate and work closely with staff acrossnumerousareas of designexpertiseandprovides exposure to a variety of project and client types.

The candidate will be active throughout projects' full lifecycles, from concept design to final construction documents, and during construction administration. The position includes environmental permitting applications and processes atfederal,state,and local levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadingaspects ofthe development ofsite plans for a variety of land-development and building projects

• Designingstormwater management and utility systems

• Preparationsitepermitting applications andsupporting reports

• Overseeing andparticipatingin construction administration activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

• 8-12years'experience

• Registration as a Professional Engineer, or working towards registration

• Experience with a variety of design software and programs (AutoCAD, Civil 3D,Hydrocad) as well as Microsoft Office

• Strong communicationand interpersonal skillsarerequired

The approximate pay range for Cambridge, MA is $80,000 - $100,000.

Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications.
