Avid Golfer in 2021 gave the Club a ranking of #1 Elite Country Club in the DFW area and best pool hangout. Among other awards the club also has a Distinguished Clubs of the World Emerald Designation for outstanding member service. Our staff consists of a wide range of professionals who are well recognized in areas of Tennis, Golf, Fitness and Culinary. The Club provides opportunities for career growth through on the job training, increased work experience and internships for graduating students. Northwood Club has a family-oriented environment with friendly members, great staff, and an amazing landscape to come to work to every day.The Dining Server Assistant assists the Dining Room Servers in overseeing the greeting and seating of members and guests. Help maintain reservations and flow of seating members. Assist servers as needed with beverage items and clearing of tables in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Provides exceptional dining experience for every member and guest. Must be able to work holidays, evenings and weekends. Our new family restaurant will open in May.Essential Duties:Provides immediate attention to all guests upon arrival at the dining room.Smile and give warm and sincere greeting upon arrival. Smile and give sincere thank you or goodbye upon members/guests leaving.Uses the member namesAnswer the phone and take reservations when calls are transferred to Dining.Assist with water and tea service, refills and beverage service from the bar.Describe specials of the day to the guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offer suggestions of menu items when appropriate.Bus and pre-bus tables as needed.
