The goal is to improve both the appearance and function of a patient's teeth while ensuring overall oral health.

What does a smile design dentistry professional do?

A Smile Design Dentistry professional typically spends their day consulting with patients to understand their aesthetic goals, performing comprehensive dental and facial analyses, and developing customized treatment plans. Responsibilities include using digital imaging and design software, performing cosmetic procedures such as veneers, crowns, and teeth whitening, and collaborating closely with dental lab technicians and hygienists. Patient education and follow-up care are also key aspects, ensuring clients understand their options and feel supported throughout their treatment journey. The role balances hands-on clinical work with artistic design and patient relationship management, making each day both challenging and rewarding.
