Job description
Sixty million adults experience mental health challenges in the United States, yet one-third lack access to proper care. Opioid overdose is the number one cause of death for people under 50 in the United States.
We are a clinician-led, tech-enabled provider group that exists to provide culturally competent behavioral health care addiction care, medication management, crisis intervention, and care coordination for people working towards taking back control of their lives, while expanding access to care.
Our vision at ReKlame Health is to create a future where individuals who have historically been unable to access the care they deserve can readily obtain high-quality behavioral health and addiction care.
At ReKlame Health, it goes beyond mere employment; it's about becoming a part of a formidable movement transcending individuality. Let's unite and forge a world where health equity and effortless access to exceptional mental healthcare can co-exist.
About the Program
The ReKlame Health NP Fellowship Program is a 12-month, full-time clinical training experience designed for newly graduated Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners who are eager to grow and learn, while making a meaningful impact early in their careers. This program provides concentrated, hands-on training in serious mental illness (SMI) and substance use disorders (SUD), offering clinical depth and exposure rarely available in graduate programs or early-career roles.
This Fellowship is intentionally structured to support the transition from graduate training to confident, independent practice. Fellows step into a full-time clinical role while receiving close mentorship, protected learning time, and a robust, longitudinal didactic curriculum. You will gradually build and manage a clinical caseload in a high-acuity, virtual outpatient setting while sharpening your diagnostic reasoning, psychopharmacology skills, and clinical judgment in complex, real-world scenarios.
Throughout the program, Fellows gain hands-on experience in:
- Treating Serious Mental Illness (SMI), including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and complex co-occurring conditions
- Substance use and addiction care, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
- High-acuity outpatient telepsychiatry
- Trauma-informed, culturally responsive care
- Evidence-based psychopharmacology and risk management
Fellows are supported through weekly didactics, direct clinical mentorship, monthly competency assessments, and structured feedback designed to promote steady growth and confidence. This role is well-suited for a new PMHNP who is curious, committed to excellence, and excited to develop into a skilled psychiatric provider while advancing ReKlame Health's mission to expand access to high-quality, culturally competent care.
Who You Are
- You believe everyone deserves respectful, high-quality, and culturally responsive mental health and addiction care.
- You are motivated to build strong clinical skills and are eager to deepen your expertise in treating serious mental illness (SMI) and substance use disorders (SUD), including learning the thoughtful application of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for patients with complex needs.
- You are curious and collaborative, and you value structured mentorship, supervision, and ongoing feedback as essential to your growth as a clinician.
- You are excited to learn by doing-taking on increasing clinical responsibility while being supported by experienced providers who are invested in your success.
- You are comfortable with technology and energized by practicing in a modern, telehealth-based care environment.
- You thrive in a team-oriented culture where shared problem-solving, reflection, and continuous improvement are encouraged.
- You are passionate about ReKlame Health's mission and eager to contribute meaningfully to expanding access to high-quality behavioral health care.
This fellowship is designed specifically for new graduate PMHNPs graduating in May 2026.
What You'll Do
Clinical Care
- Gain hands-on experience conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication-management visits through a secure, tech-enabled telehealth platform.
- Learn and apply best-in-class clinical documentation practices, maintaining timely and accurate records that exceed industry standards.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for patients with SMI, SUD, trauma histories, and co-occurring conditions.
- Deliver comprehensive Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including buprenorphine prescribing, AUD pharmacotherapy, and harm-reduction education, within a supervised fellowship setting.
- Gradually build and manage a clinical caseload throughout the Fellowship with structured support.
Intensive Learning & Skill Development
- Engage in weekly didactics designed to build and strengthen clinical skillsets and decision-making.
- Focused training areas include:
- Substance use disorder treatment models
- MAT and harm reduction
- SMI diagnosis and management
- Suicide risk assessment and crisis intervention
- Psychopharmacology for complex populations
- Trauma-informed and culturally responsive care
Collaboration & Mentorship
- Work with a multidisciplinary care team-including senior NPs, psychiatrists, nurses, and care coordinators-within a collaborative, team-based model.
- Participate in biweekly high-risk case conferences to strengthen clinical judgment and risk assessment, while learning from complex cases across the practice.
- Have designated and continuous mentorship and supervision time with experienced clinical mentors for guidance and support.
Professional Development
- Build confidence and fluency in high-quality clinical documentation, EMR workflows, quality metrics, and telepsychiatry best practices.
- Learn and apply ReKlame Health's clinical standards and risk protocols to prepare for safe, confident, and independent practice.
- Contribute to a supportive learning culture through reflection, shared insights, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Receive structured evaluation milestones throughout the program.
What We Offer
A Structured, Immersive Fellowship Year
- A purposefully designed, year-long fellowship focused on building SMI and SUD clinical expertise and supporting the transition from graduate training to confident practice.
- Protected learning time dedicated to didactics, mentorship, and hands-on skill building.
