This role requires a self-starter who works well independently or collaboratively within a team and takes direction from IT PMO leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Smartsheet Platform Administration
  • Serve as the primary Smartsheet System Administrator, managing user licenses, security settings, access controls, and governance.
  • Monitor platform performance, manage integrations (e.g., Jira, ADO, Salesforce, Slack, and third-party apps), and ensure data integrity.
  • Establish and enforce best practices, naming conventions, and governance standards for sheets, reports, and workspaces.
  • Stay current on new Smartsheet features, releases, and capabilities, and drive adoption where beneficial.

  • Create complex reports and formulas to consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Align reporting and dashboards with key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic objectives to support informed decision-making.
  • Lean Portfolio Management & Agile Enablement
  • Support Lean Portfolio Management processes including strategic alignment, demand/resource management, and portfolio prioritization.
  • Configure Smartsheet to visualize LPM metrics (flow, lead time, value delivery).
  • Develop Agile-focused templates, Kanban boards, and reporting (e.g., burndown charts) to support teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Partner with PMO/LPM teams to optimize processes and leverage Smartsheet capabilities for efficiency and predictability.

Training and Support
  • Develop and deliver user training, documentation, and best practice guides for varying user levels.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Smartsheet automations, workflows, and formulas.
  • Act as an internal advocate for Smartsheet adoption and effective usage across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Smartsheet Administrator, Solution Architect, or similar role.
  • Deep technical expertise in Smartsheet, including Control Center and Blueprint management.
  • Proven ability to build complex, data-driven dashboards and reports for executive and portfolio use.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
