Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Lead with extensive experience in SmartCOMM to join our Customer Communication Management (CCM) team. The role requires strong knowledge of the end-to-end document lifecycle and the ability to design, develop, implement, and maintain end-to-end customer communication management applications. The Technical Lead will communicate directly with customers to understand requirements and finalize input file structures while leveraging technologies such as GhostDraft Hub, Studio, Data Workbench, and Configuration Manager to create PDF documents and print output streams.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop end-to-end CCM applications.
• Integrate output queues for printing and electronic channels.
• Understand customer requirements and finalize input file structures.
• Design and plan business and technical understanding documents.
• Create developer and reviewer checklists.
• Create unit test cases for unit testing, SIT, and UAT.
• Perform effective QA activities.
• Identify performance tuning and cost-saving opportunities within projects.
• Follow development and unit testing best practices.
• Effectively review daily deliverables.
• Participate in weekly project status calls with customers.
• Apply appropriate system methodologies for analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and modification.
• Work with different output formats, including AFP, PDF, HTML5, LIVE, and Empower.
Required Qualifications
• Extensive experience with SmartCOMM/GhostDraft and the end-to-end document lifecycle.
• Experience developing end-to-end Customer Communication Management applications.
• Hands-on experience with GhostDraft Hub, Studio, Data Workbench, and Configuration Manager.
• Experience communicating directly with customers to understand requirements and finalize input file structures.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Java, Shell Script, COBOL, or .NET.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with document generation and output formats such as AFP, PDF, HTML5, LIVE, and Empower.
• Strong understanding of software development, testing, implementation, and modification methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with change management.
• Experience working with Mainframe/Unix environments.
• Insurance industry experience.
