Job description

  • Serve as the strategic technology leader for Medtronic's global supply chain, partnering closely with business executives to drive digital transformation, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Shape technology strategy across planning, integrated business planning, logistics, transportation, warehousing, and fulfillment.
  • Leverage modern platforms, data, AI, and analytics to create a more connected, intelligent, resilient, and efficient supply chain.
  • Oversee a broad portfolio spanning business engagement, enterprise architecture, applications, cybersecurity, service delivery, and digital transformation.
  • Ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value and support Medtronic's mission of advancing the future of healthcare.
  • Partner with Global Supply Chain leaders to translate business priorities into a multi-year digital roadmap.
  • Lead a global team responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and modern technology solutions across planning, logistics, warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment.
  • Influence stakeholders across a complex global organization and drive digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of relevant experience or 13+ years of relevant experience with an Advanced degree
  • 10+ years of leadership experience managing global teams and complex technology portfolios.
  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain IT, including experience in planning, integrated business planning, logistics, transportation, warehousing, and global distribution.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior executives to develop technology strategies, translate business objectives into actionable roadmaps, and deliver measurable business outcomes in complex global organizations.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives, driving cloud modernization, platform transformation, AI adoption, Industry 4.0 capabilities, intelligent automation, and digital product operating models.
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain technologies including ERP, planning, transportation, warehouse management, integration platforms, connected operations, smart logistics, and warehouse automation.
  • Strong expertise in data, analytics, AI/ML, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational performance, decision-making, and value realization.
  • Extensive experience leading cross-functional programs with accountability for adoption, financial performance, vendor management, cybersecurity, compliance, enterprise architecture, governance, and risk management.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships, lead organizational change, and influence across business and technology functions.
  • Committed to developing top talent, fostering innovation, promoting accountability, and creating inclusive, high-performing teams that deliver results while embracing a digital-first mindset.
