Summary
Title: Smart Home Technician ID: LON Richmond Department: HPTS East Location: Richmond KY
Description

High Power Technical Services, the Regional Service Provider for DISH Network in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio is currently accepting applications for Smart Home Technicians.

Smart Home Technicians are responsible for the installation and service of:

  • DISH Network satellite video equipment
  • Starlink satellite internet equipment
  • Boost Mobile cellular devices
  • Ontech Smart Home products
  • FLOCK public camera systems

As a HPTS Service Technician, you will enjoy:

  • Hourly Pay
  • Paid Training. Training pay is $17 per hour. Field training last approximately 15 days
  • Performance Pay Increases: $1 raise upon graduating training program and pay reviews at 4 months and 12 months. Earn up to $20 per hour in 12 months of active service. 
  • Aggressive sales bonus program: Earn up to 15% commission on product sales and up to $1150 per pay cycle for retail account sales with no sales caps.
  • Advancement Opportunities: Techs have the opportunity to take advantage of our management track, starting with field trainer and progressing to a Field Service Manager!

  • A take-home company vehicle: fuel card and vehicle maintenance paid for by company
  • Techs are routed directly from home: No more driving to the office every day!
  • All tools provided. Our techs do not have to purchase tools to work for us.

  • Mobile device. We provide our techs with Samsung devices for use in the field.

Minimum requirements for the position:

  • 21 years of age or older (for commercial insurance purposes)
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Clean criminal history
  • Clean driving record with no DUI's, license suspensions, reckless driving, excessive speeding tickets, etc.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Have some experience working with basic hand tools
  • Able to meet the physical requirements of the position, climb ladders, access crawl spaces, and attics, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, squat, kneel, bend, crawl, and stand for long periods as needed.
  • Enjoy working in an outdoor environment (we work in heat, cold, snow, rain, storms, and other types of inclement weather!)
  • Be comfortable working one on one with customers! In addition to service and installation, we present products and services to the customer so you must be willing to sell!
  • Be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
