How You'll Make an Impact

  • Design and configure SCADA/EMS solutions for grid operations.
  • Translate customer requirements into tailored technical solutions.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients.
  • Build and maintain configuration databases for SCADA/EMS applications.
  • Support integration of advanced technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and SaaS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise during pre-sales and implementation phases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues for optimal performance.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Computer Science, or related).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with SCADA, EMS, OTS, or GMS systems.
  • Strong understanding of power system operations and grid automation principles.
  • Proficiency in scripting and virtual platforms (VMware, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with Smart Grid architecture and NERC compliance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
