Job description


We aren't just looking for people who are good at math.  We are looking for friendly, fun, caring people who love to encourage, mentor and foster ongoing relationships with students at our learning center.

**Candidates who are available every day of our work week between Monday and Thursday for the entire shift (2:30 PM - 7:30 PM) of 2 may be considered for Assistant Director Role!  Candidates with more limited availability will still be considered for the role of instructor.

*Schedule
*Instructors are expected to work a minimum of 3 days per week
  • Monday–Thursday: 2:30 PM–7:30 PM
  • Saturday: 9:45 AM–1:00 PM
  • Sunday 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
 
What you will do as an instructor: 
  • Teach in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
  • Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
  • Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
  • Become proficient with all educational materials and processes
What we are looking for in an instructor: 
  • Passion for math and working with students
  • Excellent interpersonal skills-- this is key!!!
  • Eagerness to learn and be trained
  • Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
As part of our hiring process here at Mathnasium, all applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
