Warehouse Operations Specialist – Inventory, Fulfillment & Returns


Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA
Starting Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications


Job Overview

  • We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our small warehouse team in Santa Fe Springs.
  • This position is responsible for daily order fulfillment, inventory replenishment, returns processing, shipping and receiving support, warehouse organization, and accurate documentation.
  • The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, works efficiently with minimal supervision, pays close attention to accuracy, and communicates clearly with the Operations Supervisor.
  • This is a hands-on position with opportunities to grow into warehouse supervision, inventory control, or other operations responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, pack, and fulfill customer orders on time
  • Replenish inventory and maintain proper stock levels
  • Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming inventory
  • Process and inspect customer returns
  • Identify damaged, incorrect, or incomplete returned products
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities
  • Maintain accurate warehouse and inventory documentation
  • Help investigate inventory discrepancies when necessary
  • Keep warehouse shelves, work areas, and equipment clean and organized
  • Follow established warehouse procedures and safety practices
  • Complete a written Daily Work Report for the Operations Supervisor
  • Communicate inventory, order, return, or operational issues to the supervisor promptly
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed


Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of warehouse, fulfillment, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with inventory management and stock control
  • Experience with shipping and receiving processes
  • Experience processing or inspecting returns is a plus
  • Forklift experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • Comfortable completing basic written daily reports in English
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team
