Compensation
Weekend premium pay of $2.50 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts, with a base pay of up to $19.75 per hour. Please note that the compensation for this position may vary based on experience. Salary decisions are influenced by various factors, including the minimum qualifications specified in the job description, the work location, any required travel, and current market conditions. Job Responsibilities
The Small Engine Technician will be tasked with diagnosing and repairing a variety of outdoor small engine products, including:
- Chainsaws
- Snowblowers
- Lawnmowers
- UTVs & ATVs
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Diagnosing and repairing outdoor power equipment and recreational vehicles
- Ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for customers
- Assisting customers with loading and unloading products, locating parts, and addressing repair inquiries
- Documenting repairs on work orders and tracking units in the shop
- Completing and filing work orders
- Assisting with warranty claims in a timely manner
- Communicating with customers regarding the completion of work
- Participating in training sessions for repair technicians
- Adhering to Loss Prevention and safety policies
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be available to work evenings and at least every other weekend
- Have prior experience in small engine and/or automotive maintenance
- Possess customer service experience
- Have a background in retail
- Exhibit excellent communication skills
