Compensation

Weekend premium pay of $2.50 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts, with a base pay of up to $19.75 per hour. Please note that the compensation for this position may vary based on experience. Job Responsibilities

The Small Engine Technician will be tasked with diagnosing and repairing a variety of outdoor small engine products, including:

  • Chainsaws
  • Snowblowers
  • Lawnmowers
  • UTVs & ATVs

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing outstanding customer service
  • Diagnosing and repairing outdoor power equipment and recreational vehicles
  • Ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for customers
  • Assisting customers with loading and unloading products, locating parts, and addressing repair inquiries
  • Documenting repairs on work orders and tracking units in the shop
  • Completing and filing work orders
  • Assisting with warranty claims in a timely manner
  • Communicating with customers regarding the completion of work
  • Participating in training sessions for repair technicians
  • Adhering to Loss Prevention and safety policies
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be available to work evenings and at least every other weekend
  • Have prior experience in small engine and/or automotive maintenance
  • Possess customer service experience
  • Have a background in retail
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills
