Job description

Ladgov coorporation seeking a qualified Small Engine Repair Instructor to provide hands-on vocational training in a correctional education setting. The instructor will teach students the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of lawn mowers, weed eaters, fans, and other small-engine equipment using an approved curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom and hands-on small engine repair instruction for up to 15 students.
  • Develop lesson plans and deliver state-approved vocational curriculum.
  • Teach workplace safety, tool use, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair techniques.
  • Maintain student training records and weekly project status reports.
  • Safeguard tools, equipment, and Government property.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant state/industry certification or license in small engine repair or a related field.
  • Demonstrated small engine repair knowledge and instructional ability.
  • Ability to successfully complete required facility pre-service training.
