Job description

As a Service Center Automotive Technician, you’ll perform a wide range of services and duties at our Automotive Service Center as well as perform other assigned duties to ensure the customer has an efficient, pleasant shopping experience.
Other assigned duties can include, but are not limited to:

  • Acknowledge and assist all customers with a pleasant, helpful attitude
  • Offer suggestions for additional products that could compliment or go with what the customer is already interested in
  • Repair and install tires
  • Balance tires
  • Perform oil changes
  • Replace batteries
  • Communicate with customers as needed concerning repairs or maintenance of vehicles
  • Double check other technician’s work prior to release of customer vehicle
  • Pull vehicles in and out of the Service Center as assigned
  • Other duties assigned with progressive on the job training
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of Automotive Center and Warehouse
  • Help in other departments as assigned
  • Demonstrate awareness and compliance with loss prevention and safety policies and procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior auto repair experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • Ability to work evening shifts when needed and full shifts every other weekend
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be 18 years of age or older


Small Engines: Ability to diagnose, adjust and repair motorized power equipment. Able to replace worn out parts and perform routine maintenance on all equipment. Experience required to be considered for this position.
