Small Engine Parts and Sales Associate Part-Time

E amp;H Ace Hardware is looking for a motivated Small Engine Parts and Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll assist customers with their small engine equipment needs, support sales and rental operations, and maintain a well-organized and inviting sales floor. This position blends customer service, product knowledge, and sales responsibilities, with a focus on providing tailored solutions for small engine equipment and accessories.


What You’ll Do:

Sales Support

  • Assist customers in selecting and purchasing or renting small engine equipment

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via in-person, phone, and email

  • Accurately process sales and rental transactions, following company credit policies

  • Maintain sales floor appearance including signage, pricing, point-of-sale materials, and product displays

  • Stay current on product knowledge to effectively assist customers

  • Recommend products based on local customer needs and buying habits

  • Support Sales Manager with marketing updates, vendor selection, and equipment line evaluations

  • Contribute to pricing strategies balancing sales volume, customer loyalty, and costs

  • Work independently and proactively address tasks as needed

Department amp; Customer Relations

  • Follow ethical business practices

  • Address and resolve customer complaints to maintain satisfaction and reduce expenses

  • Adhere to safe work practices and company policies

  • Use good judgment and professionalism in problem-solving and handling difficult situations
