Job description

  • Receive and verify deliveries using manifests and invoices; ensure packaging and transport meet compliance standards.
  • Perform soft and hard counts of inventory; verify batch and strain data; prevent batch mixing.
  • Label and bin product accurately using barcode systems and approved templates.
  • Ability to interpret Certificates of Analysis (COAs) to ensure product potency and safety data match labeling requirements and regulatory standards. Print and apply barcodes and display tags; update internal systems and menus to reflect drawer assignments and pricing.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply First-In-First-Out (FIFO) methodology to prevent product expiration and maximize shelf-life efficiency.
  • A high 'error-detection' rate; the ability to spot small discrepancies in large datasets or high-volume physical stock.
  • Conduct audits, including menu, display case, and full inventory counts as assigned.
  • Proactive identification of inventory variances. Must be able to conduct 'root-cause analysis' for discrepancies (e.g., identifying mis-picks, receiving errors, or system glitches) rather than just reporting the missing numbers.
  • Support sales readiness by ensuring product is prepped, labeled, and visible in required systems.
  • Ability to provide objective, data-driven reports to management regarding inventory health, stock aging, and supply needs, maintaining professional boundaries and adherence to the chain of command.
  • Follow all company policies regarding the handling of merchandise to prevent "shrinkage" and ensure 100% accuracy in physical-to-system inventory counts.
  • Proactively safeguard inventory from loss, theft, or "shrinkage." Ensure no retail items, samples, or supplies are removed or consumed without documented supervisor approval.
  • Responsible for immediately reporting any observed policy violations, safety hazards, or unauthorized removal of property to management or Security.
  • Maintains a high level of productivity and adherence to all SOPs during all hours, including periods of low supervision; proactively identifies and executes secondary tasks during downtime without requiring constant redirection.
  • Maintain clean, organized workspaces; follow all intake, prep, and security procedures.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.
