EB Pediatric Resources has been providing therapy to special needs children in Chicago for over 20 years. We are seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant to be part of the EBPR team! The SLPA will provide clinic-based and school-based speech therapy to a pediatric population under the supervision of our Lead SLP. Illinois SLPA licensure required.
Job Duties:
  • Provide speech therapy services (individual and group) to EBPR clients
  • Submit clinical notes in a timely manner
  • Conduct services across school-based and clinic-based settings, as needed
  • Maintain an open line of communication with parents and team members, respond to questions and concerns in a timely manner
  • Assist lead SLP in conducting 6 month and annual progress updates and meetings, in addition to other parent meetings, as needed
  • Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
  • Maintain target billable hours for full time role
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies
  • Attend staff trainings and agency meetings, as needed
