Job description

Empower students to find their voices and unlock their full potential by providing speech-language services in a supportive educational environment. This contract position focuses on partnering with schools to deliver impactful assessments, therapy, and communication strategies to students ranging from preschool through high school.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • State licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure for school-based or healthcare SLP (specific to location regulations)
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in a school setting
  • Strong foundation in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments for students with diverse needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting student-specific goals
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support overall student success
  • Prepare clear, thorough documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Offer training, support, and consultation to teachers and families, promoting an inclusive classroom environment
