Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based Therapy

Join a supportive School District in Wheeling, Illinois (IL) for the 2026-2027 school year! Princeton Staffing Solutions is hiring an onsite IL licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time 16.5-hour-per-week School-Based W2 contract serving 15 students at an Elementary school. Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based

Company: Princeton Staffing Solutions

Contract Type: W2 – Part Time

Setting: Elementary (K-5)

Caseload: 15

Schedule: 16.5 hours per week

Start Date: As soon as compliant to start

End Date: 2026-2027 School Year

Work Arrangement: In Person

Compensation is customized based on experience and will be discussed prior to district submission.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and comprehensive assessments
  • Complete Medicaid billing (if applicable)
  • Maintain therapy schedules and service logs
  • Participate as a related service provider in IEP meetings
  • Develop measurable IEP goals aligned with student needs
  • Provide direct therapy services (individual and group)
  • Deliver services across speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and pragmatic communication
  • Maintain compliance documentation and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Support AAC implementation and consultation when appropriate

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • Active State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) issued by IDFPR
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education Endorsement
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous school-based experience is required. Clinical internship or practicum experience in a school setting will be considered.
  • Experience with IEP development and compliance documentation
