SLPs in telepractice often encounter challenges such as building client engagement through a virtual platform, managing technology issues, and adapting therapy activities for remote delivery. It's also important to prepare backup plans for technical disruptions and to foster strong connections with both clients and families. Many employers provide training and ongoing support to help SLPs adapt to this unique mode of service delivery.
