Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients of all ages utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods.

Create tailored treatment plans targeting immediate goals as well as long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.

Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication, language skills, fluency, voice, and swallowing mechanisms.

Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Educate patients and their families to support continuity of progress outside of therapy sessions.

Participate in occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions, to maintain consistency in care throughout the healing process.

Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner, in compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies.

Continue professional development through education and collaboration with peers to stay updated on field advancements.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are yet to attain ASHA certification.

Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic techniques across all age groups, demonstrating a profound understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing conditions.

Exceptional communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Ability to adapt therapeutic methods to fit diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Solid clinical judgment and effective problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and requisite documentation practices.
