Job description

Make a difference in the lives of students by delivering vital speech and language services in a supportive school community near Plano, TX. This contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is ready to empower young learners, collaborate with educators, and contribute to student success throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Texas
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered
  • Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students of varying needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct therapy in individual and small group settings
  • Document progress, maintain compliance records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student achievement
  • Provide guidance and support to paraprofessionals or classroom aides as needed
