Job description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade with speech-language needs in a dynamic school environment. This contract position runs from August 19, 2026, through May 28, 2027, and offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You'll play a key part in promoting academic and social success for learners who benefit from your expertise.
Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, though strong clinical SLPs may be considered
  • Understanding of K-12 educational settings and age-appropriate interventions
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services within the classroom or designated therapy setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records and documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing professional development
