Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Perform repairs and complete routine maintenance of gaming equipment in accordance with CCCH, department and compact policies and procedures. Position requires working in an environment where smoking is permitted. Must be comfortable with exposure to smoke while performing job duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to:

  • Ensure all slot machines and kiosks are in working order, operating correctly, secure and tamper-proof.
  • Ability to troubleshoot all slot machines, kiosks and related devices.
  • Move and place machines as directed.
  • Conduct part inventories.
  • Test and audit slot machine functionality as directed.
  • Inform Slot Shift Supervisor of improper or irregular play by a guest that may cause damage to machines/equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations and ordinances.
  • Act as Senior Slot Technician if necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Indicate if Qualification is Required or Preferred):

Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.

  1. Required Education: N/A Preferred Education: HS DIPLOMA
  2. Work Experience:
    1. Minimum of (3) years Slot Technician experience and/or meet all Slot Tech II requirements.
  3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    1. Demonstrates an aptitude for electronics, computers and mechanical devices.
    2. Familiarity with hand and power tools.
    3. Able to meet all Slot Technician II duties and requirements.
    4. Knowledge of Oasis system hardware and software modules (e.g., Diagnostic Monitor, Floor Logix, etc.)
    5. Ability to learn new mechanical and electronic systems.
  4. Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements: N/A
  5. Must be 18+ years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  6. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License.
  7. Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
  8. Must be committed to providing exceptional guest service through a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment. Aim to exceed guest expectations with attentive, personalized service and prompt responses and resolution.
