Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our outpatient cardiology clinic in the Bronx. The General Manager will ensure high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and effective team management. This leadership role will be pivotal in fostering a culture of excellence, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.


  • Direct supervision of Medical Assistants and Receptionists
    • Oversee medical assistant/ provider assignments
    • Oversee recruitment, training, and corrective action 
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance improvement 
    • Manage staffing coverage at sites
  • Direct supervision and ownership of provider schedules
    • Optimize slot utilization KPI
    • Identify areas of opportunity to enhance schedule workflow efficiencies
    • Identify opportunities to improve patient access
  • Provide management and support to site expansion efforts
    • Medical and office supply order and maintenance
    • Ensure proper staffing for new provider onboarding
  • Facilitate payroll for medical assistants and receptionists

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (required).

    Experience:

    • Minimum 3-5 years of healthcare management experience, preferably in an outpatient or cardiology setting.

    • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

    • Knowledge of cardiology services, clinical workflows, and healthcare regulations.

    Skills:

    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

    • Proficient in EMR systems (e.g., EPIC, eClinicalWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

    • Fluent in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
