SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring maximum Customer service and satisfaction through the organization and supervision of assigned area according to Slot Department policies and procedures and Gaming Regulations.

Contribute to a safe work environment, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.
Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Supervises the operation of all slot machines and performance of Slot associates in assigned area and communicates with Shift Manager of any Customer and/or Associate problems.
  • Assist with the organization of assigned shift and area including; daily Associate assignments, Associate break schedules and staffing levels.
  • Verifies slot payouts and complete written department forms and records detailing payments of jackpots.
  • Lock/unlock machine doors, clear bill and ticket jams, and reset machines.
  • Ensures a maximum level of service and satisfaction, with respect to the department, is achieved and maintained.
  • Held accountable, to a very high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
  • Leads by setting a positive example to all Associates.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
  • Will assist with all functions of slot booths as needed.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises all Slot Associates on assigned shift.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training Associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. AGE and GAMING:
21 years of age or above
Gaming property - Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED is required. A minimum of six(6) to nine (9) months of slot experience is required, or an equivalent combination of leadership skills and slot experience may be accepted. A minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience is preferred. Previous guest service experience is required.
TESTING:
Must pass the Basic Math Test with a minimum of 85% and Slot Math Quiz with a minimum of 90 %. Must take the required testing identified for this position
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents, such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least sixty (60) fifty (50) pounds, and stand, sit, and walk for at least 100% of assigned shift. Bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing and pulling required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke.
Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
