JOB SUMMARY

The Beverage Server is responsible for serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in an excellent and timely manner to ensure quality guest service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greets guests on arrival and regards on departure in a warm and inviting manner
  • Takes orders from guests and delivers and dispenses correct beverages
  • Demonstrates salesmanship with complete menu and product knowledge
  • Ensures and maintains cleanliness and orderliness of workstation
  • Performs responsible alcohol service with regards to guest limitations
  • Utilizes all bar equipment and point-of-sale systems
  • Communicates to management in a timely fashion any guest compliments or complaints
  • Performs general upkeep and cleaning duties, such as mopping floors, wiping countertops, cleaning food prep areas, rolling silverware, etc.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and thorough with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong and accurate money handling skills
  • Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge and ability to operate point-of-sale systems
  • Knowledge of wines, alcohol, and mixed drinks as well as gaming operations etiquette
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 6 months prior work experience preferred
  • Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable

  • The employee is required to stand for the duration of the shift.
