JOB FUNCTION:

The Slot Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the Slot Attendants (Irving) on an assigned shift and is responsible for ensuring that the Slot Attendants are providing consistent high levels of customer service.  The Slot Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Slot Operations Manager with day-to-day operations of the Slot Operations Department, including oversight of all Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs). All Duties are to be performed within the guidelines of Seneca Gaming and Entertainment’s policies and procedures, NIGC Internal Control Standards, and SGA Tribal Internal Control Standards. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Responsible to work in conjunction with the Slot Operations Manager in the supervision of personnel and efficient operation of the facilities during an assigned shift. Monitor personnel activities and take appropriate action in support of efficient operations.
    2. Observe activities in the Slot Department, watching for irregularities. Ensure slot machines are functioning properly, and the machines are being played legitimately.
    3. Assign personnel to areas of the casino, schedule and monitor breaks in order to provide proper coverage and efficient service to Slot customers.
    4. Assist in monitoring the payouts on the machines or Cashier Cage, to ensure that proper amounts are being paid to customers.
    5. Act as signatory on jackpots as outlined by Slot Policies and Procedures.
    6. Assist the Finance Department with Kiosk errors, fills, and kiosk reports when needed.
    7. Complete required documents for Title 31; CTRs and SARs.
    1. Must know and enforce all policies and procedures regarding the security of monies, parts, equipment, and required documentation.
    2. Utilize effective communication tools to ensure that consistent, accurate, and timely information is provided through all shifts.
    3. Ensure professional behavior and appearance follow established standards, rules and regulations of the Slot Department.
    4. Maintain a current understanding of all policies and guidelines regarding information security.  Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.
    5. Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.  Maintain a professional work environment with all staff.
    6. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
    7. Must complete all required SGE Training programs in accordance with HR policies and procedures.
    8. Attend all necessary meetings.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.  High school diploma or equivalent required.  One (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience preferred. Must possess excellent math skills and be able to perform accurately under pressure.
