Job description

The lead Slitter Operator will ensure that their machine and crew are running in an efficient, productive manner with attention to quality and safety.


They will be responsible for :

  • Ensuring all order specifications are being met.
  • Lead and organize their crew's quality, safety, production and scheduling.
  • Alert Maintenance and Plant Manager of needed maintenance and repairs.
  • Scheduling of machine orders and of personnel through Plant Manager.
  • Recording daily production reports.
  • Maintaining clean and safe work area.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and math skills. Experience is preferred but not required.
