The Cabinetry Service Technician is responsible for evaluating, troubleshooting, and resolving cabinetry service concerns related to Zuern cabinetry projects. This role serves as a field representative of Zuern, working closely with homeowners, builders, contractors, designers, and internal teams to identify root causes, recommend solutions, and complete repairs or adjustments as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

5. Install or replace trim, fillers, panels, moldings, hardware, and other cabinetry components as required.
6. Order and gather cabinetry components, materials, and replacement parts needed to complete service work.
7. Perform cabinetry field measurements and communicate findings with cabinetry designers and project teams.
8. Maintain professional rapport with customers and team members by addressing concerns, communicating expectations, and providing exceptional customer service.
9. Document service actions, field findings, completed work, and customer interactions through forms, reports, logs, and records.
10. Assist with showroom displays, cabinetry demonstrations, product organization, and showroom upkeep as needed.
11. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities across all cabinetry product lines.
12. Assist the Window Service team with shop projects including window mulling, jamb extensions, and other specialty modifications as workload and scheduling demands require.
Requirements

  2. Minimum three years of experience in cabinetry, finish carpentry, millwork, remodeling, building materials, or a related trade; equivalent education, training, or experience will be considered.
  3. Experience troubleshooting and resolving cabinetry, millwork, or finish carpentry issues preferred.
  4. Strong customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to professionally address customer concerns.
  5. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, solve problems, and exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision.
  6. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, technical information, drawings, and field measurements.
  7. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and accurately use measuring tools, including tape measures and rulers.
  8. Working knowledge of power tools, hand tools, installation techniques, and finish carpentry practices.
