Founded in late 2019 by two best friends who found slime healing during difficult times, the mission of the company is to deliver joy. Playing with slime taps into four of the five senses: it's visually mesmerizing; it smells delicious (Sloomoo slimes are hand-made and scented); it offers soothing ASMR sounds; and it feels both relaxing and playful.


The environment is made for digging in with your hands and getting off of your screens, whether you're a kid or a kid-at-heart. A finalist of Fast Company's Innovation by Design Award, the design of Sloomoo is glossy, contemporary, and accessible.


There are five locations - New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, and Los Angeles - with more on the way. Position Summary


The Slime Packer at Sloomoo plays a crucial role in our mission to deliver innovative and high-quality slime products to our customers. As part of the production team, this individual will engage in various stages of slime creation, from initial mixing to final packaging, ensuring each product not only meets our stringent standards for quality and safety but also embodies the creativity and fun that our brand represents. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and has a passion for crafting and innovation.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute all phases of slime production, adhering to predetermined recipes and design specifications.

  • Learn all facets of Slime production, including mixing, molding, stickering and packing.

  • Conduct quality control checks to maintain product consistency and identify potential issues.

  • Efficiently package finished slime products, ensuring they are ready for distribution. Label products accurately according to company and regulatory standards.

  • Keep the production area clean and organized, including cleaning equipment and tools, organizing supplies, and ensuring a safe working environment.

  • Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and production goals. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth production process.

  • Collaborate with the production team and other departments to improve processes and introduce new product ideas.

  • Ensure safety is always prioritized, addressing, and logging any damages or repair needs, and conveying guest feedback and concerns to management.

  • Support your team members, contributing to a collaborative, positive working environment where everyone can thrive.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned by managers.

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in food preparation, kitchen prep, meal assembly, or similar production-based environments is highly valued.

  • Candidates with experience as Prep Cooks, Line Prep Team Members, or in fast-paced food production settings (such as Chipotle or similar concepts) are encouraged to apply.

  • Experience accurately measuring ingredients and consistently following standardized recipes, formulas, or preparation procedures.

  • Proven ability to maintain quality, consistency, and attention to detail while working efficiently in a high volume environment.


Additional Qualifications:
  • Strong ability to follow detailed recipes, specifications, and standardized operating procedures with precision.

  • Comfortable measuring ingredients, handling materials accurately, and maintaining product consistency.

  • Demonstrated experience working in environments where quality standards, portioning, or recipe adherence are critical to success.
