Job description

The General Manager is the life-blood of our organization. An amazing GM takes an average park and makes it a top-performing park. An amazing GM has the opportunity to mentor and uplift young adults within the community and prepare them for success in future endeavors. An amazing GM can promote positivity and safety within the park and community. This job is more than just being a store manager.
Executing strategy and driving results at the park level is the key to success at Slick City. Slick City GMs run their businesses like owners and drive company initiatives. This is a full time, salaried position that reports to a Regional Team.
The GM will be assigned a park and be responsible for all events, including but not limited to birthday party bookings, T&D, park budget, and reading P&L statements. The GM will be responsible for meeting and exceeding corporate goals in their park, by driving profitability, upholding/adhering to company standards, and putting a consistent emphasis on positive guest experiences.
Requirements
Associates or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Over four years of experience in a related field
Key Responsibilities
Enforcing safety and cleanliness
Overseeing performance of the team
Leading the team to meet and exceed goals while taking responsibility for outcomes
Ensuring the best customer service in the region
Upholding company and industry safety and sanitation standards
Motivating the team to meet company goals and promote a culture of positivity
  • Managing park P&Ls to ensure park's profitability and efficiency
  • Placing an emphasis on positive guest experiences in order to ensure positive traffic year-over-year
  • Enforcing park rules to uphold a safe, family-friendly environment
  • Overseeing operations of the park, including cash and sales control; party management and set-up, inventory management and park opening/closing procedures
  • Being accountable for everything that transpires in the park, including but not limited to sales, safety, cleanliness, and any injuries/incidents that may occur at park
  • Reporting bad news immediately - always be transparent in your work
