How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Lead diagnostic sleep studies to accurately assess and identify patient sleep disorders, utilizing expertise in basic and advanced protocols.
  • Educate and prepare patients for testing, conducting thorough interviews to ensure their comfort, understanding, and willingness to participate in the procedure.
  • Monitor patients continuously throughout the study, proactively intervening to address clinical needs, quickly resolve equipment issues, and ensure data integrity.
  • Analyze and score sleep study data with precision, delivering comprehensive reports that guide patient diagnosis and inform treatment planning.
  • Maintain and calibrate all diagnostic equipment, proactively identifying and reporting needs for repair or replacement to ensure the sleep lab operates with peak readiness.
What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart
    Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Cert Polysomnographic Tech credentialed from the Board of Registered Polysomnograhic Technologists
      (BRPT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Reg Polysomnographic Tchnlgst credentialed from the Board of Registered Polysomnograhic
      Technologists (BRPT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Registered Sleep Technologist from the American Board of Sleep Medicine obtained prior to hire date
      or job transfer date.

Education:  

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
