Polysomnography Tech / Sleep Tech
Full-Time | Night Shift
MLR is seeking a skilled Sleep Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will conduct sleep studies and provide exceptional care to patients. Working closely with sleep medicine specialists, you will assist in diagnosing and managing sleep disorders, helping patients achieve better, restorative sleep. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and monitor overnight sleep studies (polysomnography) and related tests.
  • Set up and calibrate sleep study equipment to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Record patient data, including physiological measurements and behavioral observations.
  • Analyze sleep study results and prepare detailed reports for review by sleep specialists.
  • Educate patients on sleep disorders, testing procedures, and equipment usage.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot sleep study equipment as necessary.
  • Ensure a clean and comfortable environment for patients during their sleep studies.
Qualifications:
  • Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
