Sugar Bowl Resort is seeking a sharp, detail-driven, and dependable Hotel Night Auditor to be the steady backbone of our overnight hotel operation. In the quiet hours while our guests sleep, you'll balance the day's charges and revenue, keep our books accurate, and serve as the go-to person for anything a guest or the hotel needs until morning. It's a role for someone who loves the satisfaction of a perfectly reconciled report just as much as a warm, reassuring guest interaction - while maintaining a professional image, you'll identify and respond to guest needs safely and promptly to ensure complete satisfaction for every guest, every night.

Situated atop beautiful Donner Summit, Sugar Bowl has a storied past with ties to Austrian ski culture, Hollywood and Walt Disney. Who You Are:

High school diploma or equivalent

Some college is a plus, especially with an accounting background or hospitality training

Customer service experience that shows you genuinely enjoy helping people

A warm, confident phone presence and excellent telephone etiquette

Available to work nights (11pm-7am), including weekends and/or holidays

Strong accounting and analytical skills, with a sharp eye for detail

A high level of integrity and trustworthiness, especially when handling financial records independently overnight

A self-starter who thrives working independently

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English; additional languages are a welcome plus

What You'll do:

Audit and balance room revenue, food and beverage revenue, cashier reports, guest and house accounts, telephone revenue, and online reservations

Complete and transmit daily management and accounting reports along with supporting documentation

Transmit credit card batches

Handle guest and financial information with discretion, keeping sensitive information confidential at all times

Serve as the hotel's system, operations, and emergency liaison during overnight hours

Perform all guest service functions overnight, including check-ins, check-outs, and responding to guest needs

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit or stand at a front desk workstation for extended periods during overnight shifts

Ability to push, stoop, stand, bend, and lift items weighing up to 30 pounds

Manual dexterity for extended computer, calculator, and paperwork use

Ability to remain alert and focused throughout overnight hours (11pm-7am)

Sufficient visual and auditory acuity to review financial reports and respond to guests and emergencies safely

Comfortable working independently with minimal on-site supervision
