Job description

Education:Graduate of an accredited school of respiratory services preferred. Successful completion of a sleep lab training program is required.
License/Certifications: Must be certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists or will have certification within 1 year of hire date. Must be current in BLS within 6 months of hire.
Experience:Preferred, but not required.
Mental & Physical Effort: Requires attention to detail. Must be precise in monitoring patient studies and in carrying out Physician's orders. Requires the ability to withstand the stress of life and death situations. Frequently helps in decisions regarding patient care. Involves standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, bending at the waist and positioning patients to attach to monitors. Must be able to sit and watch monitor for hours and assist patient as needed.
