A Tooling Technician is responsible for the design, maintenance, and repair of tools and equipment used in manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and precision in production. Set up injection molding machines Operate injection molding machines/li Operate an injection molding machine Assist with mold changes of injection mold machines Utilize expertise on injection molding machines Maintain production process for injection molding machines Operate the injection molding machines for production Purging out the injection molding machine Assist injection molding department by troubleshooting mold operations Train new operators on injection molding machines Starting and stopping the injection molding machines Set up a variety of injection molds in various injection molding presses Perform mold changes and maintenance of molding machines Set up and clean injection molding machines and grinders throughout the production run Set up injection molding machines Processing and troubleshooting all plastic injection molding machines Ensure manufacturability of injection molds Shut down (injection molding machines and conveyors) Worked on or released to the floor Prepare injection molding machine and operator workstation for operation
